Revisions for Consciousness Expanding Games

I don't see much thought about morality in the documents and essays about the Global Brain. It's not entirely missing, but it doesn't figure as prominently as I would wish, especially as it seems that very specific values are implied in the fundamental ideas about the project. Since we don't really seem to know how morality emerges in the individual, physical brain, this isn't entirely surprising. But if immortality is unlikely at best and impossible at worst, I'd say little is left to us but morality. I can't see that there is any lasting meaning to life beyond making it better for others. So my ideas and concerns about games and apps are all about social justice and transformation of the lives of the very poor, the frightened, the enslaved, and the oppressed. A bit heavy, I know, but that's really honestly why I'm in this class! To dream big dreams about Games For Change.
