Tentative syllabus:

We meet once a week but it is ok not to be in the meeting physically as long as you make the assignments;

The first week we will solve the technical issues.  You will share your work with the teacher through a google document and also on the math 2.0 wiki.  It will be exciting to have young kids share art together and maybe also solve puzzles.
Unit 1: Getting started and getting acquainted with each other. Finding ways to communicate and help each other. Downloading MuMart. Taking care of technical issues.   Create your own google document and share it with me (danovak@gmail.com ) so I can edit.  Add you name to the sharing document.  Some of the students are getting Skype or Google Chat, which is convenient but is not required. Understanding the course outline. Introducing the MuMart Screen. Learning how to create The Spiral of Life and to link it to your Google document it (http://screencast.com/t/njamUuCkTC).  Put the text, the picture and the program in your document that you share with me.  For example: Dani
Unit 2: Starting to learn MuMart systematically through the lessons with exercises. Step by step Startup instructions. Shapes. Three assignments, Shapes AssignmentLines Assignment and Arcs Assignment, and a quiz, Shapes Quiz. Also, the Spiral of Life Assignment
Unit 3: Individual transformation commands: REPEAT I (two sets)  RQuiz1 and RQuiz2SPIN and QuizSPINRL and QuizArt Gallery Assignment
Unit 4: More individual transformation commands: MIRROR and QuizGROWBY IGROWBY IIGROWGBY and QuizMuMart Writing Art Assignment
Unit 5: All transformation commands: Mixed IMixed II and QuizMixed III and QuizMandala Assignment
 
Unit 6: Test. Tile Assignment and HSB Color Assignment.   Read the Dynamic Art Theory and watch Dynamic Art Videos and begin creating ar  final project. Note that "JT" should be "AT".

Hello, how do we submit the .sl file that is part of the assignment? The shared google doc does not allow included files.

You can submit files into your individual Google document that you share with me by
1. uploading the file first into your google account (there is an upload link) and
2. share it with me (or the world) This gives you a link
3. paste the link into your main google document that you share with me
