Hey everyone,

Most of your courses are open for sign-up, and we hope you're getting some interest. P2PU is going to send out our general announcements in the coming week (blog, twitter, anouncement lists) but also highly recommend that organizers spread the word to. Think about your desired audience and how you would seek them out.

With 10 days to go I'm thinking of what to do if I don't get a minimum participation on the course ... or rather:

How do I define a minimum participation -- are there lessons learnt from earlier courses?
How do I politely announce that the course is not going to happen?
Or should/could I come up with a plan B ....

Finding Open Resources

Hey everyone,

Things seem quiet over here on the orange and grey platform, but things sure are busy over on new.p2pu.org.

I just wanted to check in and see how your search for open resources has been going, and especially get some juice on how you plan to USE resources. What kind of workable tasks are you pulling out of these resources? Does this seem like a daunting exercise or are you enjoying course/study group building? Do tell!

And please feel free to chime in with questions about open resources, licensing, and task building.

I hope you've been enjoying playing around with course design on this platform and experimenting with new.p2pu.org. I'd love to hear form all of you how you're approaching or expecting participation to happen in your course/study group.

Are you the expert?
If not, what level of facilitation to you plan to take on?
How do you intend to express your facilitation level to participants?

Also, how long do you plan on working with participants? A few weeks? Many?

We're a few weeks into courses now. I'm really curious to hear from all of you about how your courses are going.

How many folks were accepted into your course and how many are still participating?
If you're having meetings, are they going well? What tools are you using?
Are there any particular discussions that are worth sharing? Any cool projects participants are working on?
