Why would choose you choose that platform? Does your educational institution have a site-license for authoring tools or does it maintain an iTunes U site for distributing instructional materials to learners? Please brainstorm with others.

Please tell us what you consider the most important criteria for instructors as they make open textbook adoptions. Are there others beside the 11 factors used by COT peer reviews that are more critical? Do you think the criteria are discipline-specific? Continue to brainstorm with others.

Project on critical thinking OER

There are some community college instructors in this course that haven't joined a team. I'm looking to try to work with people on finding open resources and/or developing some (not a textbook!) on using critical thinking. Most colleges have student learning outcomes around critical thinking which map to program and course level outcomes. The initiative I am working on at my college includes CT and writing in all disciplines.

Opensearch and Openmake

Hi all,

My idea (and i am a coder by nature - I wrote all of www.nottingham.ac.uk/xpert - which is an OER search engine) is for

1) A place to search for as much opentext as possible - be it books, journals, OER
2) A place to search for ingredients - videos, text, pictures, sounds.

Be great if anyone else was interested. No obligation for anyone to code. Most be specing out designs and seeing what happens.
