I am currently leading the badge and assessment work at P2PU - looking at how we can capture learning and allow people to translate that learning back to other contexts, like jobs, formal education, applications, etc.  I also direct the Center for Next Generation Teaching and Learning, which develops and researches technology to support social and participatory learning. 

I live in the East Bay, California with my two awesome chocolate labs, Colby and Callie.
