Getting Started with Scilab

Eight days to go for the course to begin

Hi All,

We are now 7, including me. We start the course from May 25, 2011. One thing that remains to be decided is how and when will we have the contact sessions.

This is what I have in mind - I will upload content (documents, screencasts etc.) for each session. We will follow it up with a contact session. I will then open a forum topic for each session that will capture your feedback, questions and answers. Thus, the only thing to be finalized now is the contact session. Questions are:

  • Mode of contact session. Our choices are:
    • Chat in P2PU website
    • Google Talk (but each of us will need a Gmail ID, I think)
    • Skype (Each of us must have a Skype account)
  • Time of contact
    • I live in UTC + 5:30 (India)
    • My convenient times are one hour between 6pm to 11pm IST Can we arrive at a consensus and decide a time that is convenient to all?

Your feedback on these and related issues are required urgently so that I can finalize how we do this well.
