Hi again everyone,

I know how to password protect a single page or post. How do you password protect a section of pages under a menu heading, that is all the pages in a dropdown within that directory?

Any ideas? I haven't found anything on the WordPress site, but know of school websites that do this.

custom post types

Hi Tomato and classmates,

I figured out how to make a custom post type and how to get it to display on my blog page along with my other posts. I added the recommended code in the functions.php. However, I would rather display it alone on a different page. Is there a way to alter the code on my functions.php to do that? This is the code I used:

add_filter( 'pre_get_posts', 'my_get_posts' );
function my_get_posts( $query ) {

Hi Tomato! Thanks for all your time tonight. I think I need lots more of it so maybe this is not for me. I am going to go with a simple wordpress.com blog. This course is too hard for me and I am not that interested in getting this technical. I would rather hire someone. But it was good to find out. I learned a lot and I am very grateful for your patience with me!!!

Outlook email

Has anyone else had this problem and solved it?

I moved my old web site from GoDaddy to Siteground as I thought it would be easier to set up the Wordpress blog. I set up an email address supposedly successfully. Since then my outlook does not work right. It just seems to die and I have to reboot.
