Power vs. Force, David Hawkins. This book creates a measurement system for states of consciousness ranging from shame, anger, and pride to altruism, compassion, and enligtenment. Also deals with "strange attractors." Hawkins states that there are two main states that help us increase our consciousness: moving from "blame" to "responsibility" (at a level of 200 points), and  reaching a lifestyle of "accepting love and non-judgemental forgiveness" (500 points on the scale).(Hawkinds, p. 198)

I was also thinking about how the Gaia principle might relate to how we look at a global consciousness, because if we are focusing on universal consciousness, how our societies function in regards to our world is another direction we could think about.

Also something worth considering is what could be the correlation between how we percieve the earth and act towards it, and how we advance in consiousness in general?

Yes, at least a summary of perspectives that exist among the class on 1 page would be a good tool to guide us, without having to nail it down just yet, but as a baseline which we can measure against at the end of the class.

Gurmit, greetings. Are you referring to a definition of "consciousness"?

I think a clear consensus on

I think a clear consensus on the definition would help us all get on the same page before we start thinking about games and apps.

What questions do we have that we wish someone could answer for us about "consciousness"?
