Mi nombre es Miguel Ángel, y actualmente trabajo como profesor de marketing y publicidad en la Universidad del País Vasco.
Estoy cercano a mi jubilación, y cuando eso suceda quiero dedicarme a la enseñanza del español en algún país extranjero, posiblemente EEUU, Canadá, Australia, etc. Para ello he realizado un curso de enseñanza de español a extranjeros realizado por el Instituto Cervantes.
Por lo tanto, este es mi primer curso como profesor. Cuento con mi experiencia de profesor en la Universidad y con vuestra ayuda.
My name is Miguel Angel, and currently work as a professor of marketing and advertising from the University of the Basque Country.
I am close to my retirement, and when that happens I want to live teaching Spanish in a foreign country, probably USA, Canada, Australia, etc. To do this I completed a course of teaching Spanish to foreigners by the Instituto Cervantes.
Therefore, this is my first year as a teacher in Spanish foreign language but I have many years behind me in teaching at university. I expect your help.

Summary
¿Qué haremos durante el curso?
Haremos ejercicios de escritura, lectura, audición y charlas sobre temas de actualidad que tengan un nivel de dificultad adecuado a los niveles B1/B2 tal como los describe el Marco Común Europeo para la enseñanza de lenguas.
Para ello llevar a cabo el curso utilizaremos: http://espanolparaextranjeros.pbworks.com , donde podrás hacer tus test para conocer tu nivel de español, correo electrónico, grupo, foros, y para las charlas podremos emplear Skype, o cualquier otro programa que nos permita hablar. :
Los materiales de trabajos serán textos de periódicos, grabaciones de radio,
Y charlas en vivo por medio de Skype.
El calendario.
Nos pondremos en contacto un día a la semana durante dos horas para empezar. Bien en el foro o en el chat o en Skype. Los estudiantes mandarán y recibirán los trabajos corregidos por medio del correo electrónico.
Al terminar el curso aquellos que quieran podrán examinarse de los citados grados en le lugar que sea más cercano a su domicilio.
Si hubiera estudiantes interesados en cursos de menor nivel, los estudiantes de los cursos superiores podrían colaborar enseñando a estos alumnos.
Cualquier sugerencia, colaboración etc. de los participantes será bien recibida, proponiendo temas, lecturas etc.
What will we do during the course?
We will do writing exercises, reading, listening and talks on topical issues that have an appropriate difficulty B1/B2 levels as they are described by the Common European Framework for Languages: Learning, Teaching and Assessment. We will use the technology of the website and we can use Skype chats, or any other programme that allows us to talk.
To carry out this course we will use: http://espanolparaextranjeros.pbworks.com/ ,where you can make your test and know your lebel of Spanish, email, groups, forums, and we can use Skype chats, or any other program that allows us to talk.
The working materials are texts from newspapers, radio recordings ,and chats through Skype.
Calendar
We will have a lesson once a week for two hours to start, held either in the forum or chat or Skype.
At the end of the course, we could consider taking the exam of those degrees if they take place somewhere near home..
If there were students interested in lower-level courses, students in higher grades could work teaching these students.
Any suggestions, collaboration, etc. from participants will be welcomed by proposing topics, readings etc.

El alumno realizará actividades de comprensión lectora de textos auténticos no complejos
At the end of the Course
Students will be able to do speaking activities in everyday situations and on general topics
Students will be able to produce simple texts with coherence.
The student activities will be listening to speeches and messages in clear standard input on familiar topics
The students will complete reading comprehension activities on not complex authentic texts

This is a very impressive course draft. I think this will be an amazing course. I am looking forward to seeing your syllabus, specifically what kind of open resources you will be using, the tools of communication with the students, what kind of tasks they will have, etc.

Creía que el P2PU dispondría de herramientas para trabajar en Internet: Foro, correo elctrónico, chat etc. Pero sino dispone de ello, usaremos la tecnología gratuita de YAHOO, para crear grupos puesto que Google va a suprimir sus grupos.

Hola Miguel, tenemos ciertamente los foros y chat (text-based) a P2PU, y te invito a utilizarlos. Me pare muy bien ahora tu curso, lo vado a abrir. Seria bien si en el lugar "sign up task" solamente hubiera el sign up task, no todos las tareas por el curso - estas tareas serian en el course outline.
(Se que il mio espanol no es muy bueno, puede ser que yo tendria que tomar este curso tambien :))

Hola Miguel, I'm not sure where or how to give you my results of the quizzes you sent. I passed the first two, A1 & A2 with a 70 or higher; but did not pass the B1 test. Hope this helps. I couldn't find an email for you. I'm excited about this class, thanks.

Mi nombre es Darien. Soy de los Estados Unidos y vivo en Virginia. En este momento me quedo en casa y estoy educación en el hogar de mis hijas.
Estoy estudiando español porque espero que algún día yo puedo hablo español bien. Yo estudie 6 años de español en la escuela secundaria y la universidad.
Mi madre era española Y hablaba español hermoso pero yo nunca lo aprendió de niño. Ahora que mis hijas están aprendiendo español, quiero ir más lejos para que yo puedo ayudarlos.
No tengo mucho tiempo para estudiar español durante la semana, pero tengo más tiempo para estudiar español durante los fines de semana.
Yo conocí más de los verbos tenses en la escuela secundaria. Pero, se me olvidó que muchos de ellos, con excepción de los verbos presente & pretérito. Necesito ayuda en los verbos. Necesito ayuda sobre los objetos directos e indirectos en el español también.

Hi Miguel,
I seem to be a bit confused on where to find lessons and how to do this course. I submitted an brief introduction of myself, but I'm not sure if this (also where I'm now posting) is where I should have posted it. What is being covered right now? I did some print outs of some explanations you submitted, about 2 or so weeks ago. I always seem to go to the same entry home page and then that's it, no lessons listed from what I can find and it doesn't change. Please help set things straight, just not sure how to move through this course. Thanks Miguel.
