Hi guys,
Here's a recap of Wednesday's meeting. I'm just going to hit the 5 different project ideas we zeroed in on:
1) Impact through Political Systems
A) How do we educate and empower politicians to exact change within the existing political system?
B) How can we give constituents confidence and the means to create impact through civic engagement?
2) Information: Consumption and Interaction
A) How do we satisfy for users in their search for specific information?
B) How do we help users critically evaluate the information they consume?
3) Organizational Direction
A) How do help employees, clients, and communities keep organizations (nonprofit?) on track with their strategy and mission?
So, these are by no means exact ... please comment on any edits you see necessary.
There was a lot of talk about merging some topics together. Let"s explore those possibilities through discussion.
While all of these ideas are viable and rich with potential, I believe some ideas lend themselves better to our context - creating something tangible in a few weeks through remote design thinking - than other ideas.
Either way, we need to combine / decide / squeeze on these five ideas into at most two by next Wednesday so we can get the class moving. More instructions on the way; in the meantime, discuss any thoughts you might have.
