Week #1 What to do this week

Go back to: General discussion

Greetings! Welcome to week #1.

The main idea behind the Studio is to support you and your projects. So, here are three things to do next:

#1: Invite someone to be a "guest speaker" during one of our live Wednesday sessions (noon eastern time). This should be someone you'd like to hear from that would inform or benefit your project. Coordinate with me on the Wednesday date so we don't double book.

#2: Complete your project design form by February 2nd (below). Do this on your project wiki page. Create one if it doesn't exist already. One of the points of this form is to help you  align with the sustainability competencies. We'll be using these so the group can provide feedbabck to you, so you can assess your progress and so we can recognize our mutual efforts at the end of the course.

POST QUESTIONS YOU HAVE ABOUT THIS TO THE FORUM - and please chime in when others ask questions.

1. Project Title:
2. How do you define success for this project and how will you measure it?
3. Briefly describe your project:
4. When does it start and end?
5. Where is it located?
6. What are the names of the people doing the project?
7. List your weekly action plan during the course from January 26-March 16 (refer to the course schedule to list week-by-week activities.
8. How does your project contribute to sustainability?
9. How does your project align with one or more of the sustainability competencies?
10. How will you create a digital story that can be openly published and shared that demonstrates mastery of your selected competencies?

#3 Put Wednesday February 9th noon -1:00 eastern time on your calendar for the next live session.

We're officially started! Thank you all for participating and making this a meaningful experience for each of us.  - Chris
