Based on the "when is good responses", Wed 9/15 at 7am will be our first class.
Class is 1 hour long. I will also have office hours during the next 6 weeks, so you can get 1:1 time and ask questions.
I wanted to give everyone 24 hours notice. Please discuss in this forum.
Thank you, Austin! Just to double check: do we use the PDT time zone (GMT-7) as default in talking about schedule in our class?
Thanks again!
I have the same question, and, is every class going to be at the same time?
Another question, a little bit embarrassing hahaha but, are we going to connect through skype? can you tell me your(Austin) skype name ?
Cheers!
Euge
Yes class will always be at the same time. (of course we may change that time if the group settles on a different time)
Yes, please. (Sorry for my PDT bias :)
OK, thanks for letting us know. See you then!
Sounds good (after I realized that 7am PDT is 10am for me :p). Will that be the time every Wednesday then?
Hm...7am in PDT(GMT -7) means...10pm in GMT+8.
W00t! I can make it!
Hi there!
It's 10am for me here in Toronto. But I appreciate you get up early for the class!
What tool are we using to communicate for class tomorrow?
Thanks!
Diedie
7AM PDT 10AM EDT I can do, but I have to leave a study group early to do so. I would prefer a later time. Also a couple people including me are in this class and the web dev 101 class which will be at 9PDT 12pm EDT on wednesdays, as far as it stands now. Think that should be noted
Thank you and P2PU once again! KYLe
Hi everybody! 7 AM (gmt -7) is good for me. I am available all day from 7am to 9pm GMT time, that is 1am (I know..) till 2pm GMT-7 time.
I really appreciate the effort of putting this course together and waking up so early. Thank you Austin!

We will use chat mainly tomorrow. http://p2pu.org/node/5588/chat
This link is also on the homepage of the class.
I've found Skype problematic for classes. We can add tools as we go, but let's start with chat which won't require a long setup time like Tokbox and Skype... having people join and then lose the connection, microphone and speaker issues, etc.
hi everybody,
looking forward to meet u all in our first class.
