Still waiting patiently for the U.S. Census Bureau to release data for Massachusetts (info will be out for more than 40 states by next week, still no Mass.) But when they do, I'd like to do some mapping of the data to the town.
Seems like that would be easier in QGIS than OpenStreetMap and OpenLayers (I have to admit that I've been spending most of my time lately learning QGIS because I'm most interested in geodata analysis and that's a great tool), but it would be cool to have the underlying street/building information available.
Any suggestions on how to proceed and combine the two? Is it even possible to load a Census data file with OpenLayers?
