About Me
I came to p2pu as a hopeful student and decided to help out by teaching a course or two. I came to web design as a graphic designer with all my formal training in traditional methods, paper and ink, except that I was a voracious learner when it came to computers and ended up teaching myself HTML and several different graphics programs. I've worked in Silicon Valley and Austin, TX, until I took time off to try out the wonderful world of parenting. I have done some freelance and a great deal of personal work since then, to "keep in shape."
I enjoy research, history, art, and craft pursuits. I'm interested in reuse, recycling and repurposing of items that might otherwise be discarded, as well as making things from new materials. My general blog is at bymyownhand.blogspot.com
