Hi it ws nice to meet everyone in the introduction thread. I know that Neil said he had to pull some things together before the course started (i.e. busy at work and stuff). Are there any updates on the status of this course that I have missed? I feel a little lost. Is anything going on here yet? I know that the model for how P2P works is shifting away from a strict time based schedule and now is moving towards more flexibility of completion of tasks. Will that impact here?
I am with you on feeling a little lost. Are we to be doing something that I am not aware of?
I am in the same boat. This is my first P2PU course and I'm not sure what we are supposed to be doing.
My first P2PU course as well and I am just checking the "Forums" and "Course Material" links every day or so.
So I take it this course is not going to happen as planned. I was so looking forward to it.
I wrote to p2p and this site is dead. They are in beta on a new site at new.p2p.org. The model is slightly different as there is a lot of focus on study groups. There is one currently underway on JavaScript that has a jquery fork.
Thanks JM. Does that mean that this course is being moved or canceled?
I am sure someone will do a jquery dedicated study group or course at some point but I have no idea if this course's facilitator will be involved. If he was I think he would have checked in by now
