There will be a variety of activities and resources here to get us started on the topics for each week of the course.  While you will experience some materials on your own (for instance, by reading and watching videos), you will also actively process and apply the information in meaningful ways by participating in discussions with your peers and completing small projects. This combination was created based on how adults naturally learn best.

While your commitment to your peers in this course is to actively participate in the learning process for the next six weeks, you will have a lot of flexibility to participate when and how it makes sense to you. We are here to learn and to have fun, so the work is not designed to be a burden. However, there are no shortcuts in learning--the more time you spend on relevant tasks related to the subject matter, the more you will come to know and understand the content.

We are all peers: we each share the responsibility for the teaching and learning here. There are a wealth of excellent resources available for free on the web about our topics (including real-life examples of behavioral economics at work and situations/current events where applying principles from behavioral economics could make a positive difference).  Let's share them  as we come across them!
