1) What is cloning? Taking off springs from a mother plant, which in turn can become mother themselves. They are exact replicas of the mother. Also, it is a way to save or to cut growing time down!
2) Name 3 ways to sprout seeds. Put seeds in a clear plastic or glass cup filled about half way with room temp. bottled water. Put in a dark place. Soaking will soften hulls and promote germination. After about three days the hull will split and a white tip will emerge. When the tip is about 1/2" it is ready to plant. Can place sprouts in pete pods and treat like seedlings. Or you can just put the seed in non-fertilized potting soil. I place them about an inch deep, this strengthens the roots, and makes for stronger stocks.
4. How many hours of light should clones have while rooting? 24 hours

You and your team are growing medicinal marijuana for a patient with cancer who is undergoing chemotherapy. This patient needs to relieve pain and increase appetite. You must choose a strain that will help this patient. Explain why your group chose this strain and share a link of where this strain can be ordered from.
I recommend to my group... PMB (Purple Monkey Balls), and Green Apple Kush. I chose these because, the PMB promotes and increases appetite, and the Green Apple, will help elevate and relieve pain. As for a link, I am not real sure of, I do know that the PMB came out of Humbolt, maybe my team can look into this!! If they like my choices!!

It says that has a sedating effect that means that calms the pain. It also says that it is good for the anorexia, so it increase your appetite and finally it is effective for cancer/chemotherapy. That means this strain can help you for the pain and lack of appetite.

I personally like this strain. :)
It is and Indica variety, it give you a body relaxing feeling so it is very good for the chronic pain that can give you the chemotherapy. And it use to make me feel hungry :P

White Rhino is much cheaper. 10 seeds and they are feminised.

I'm totally agree also.
I have some doubts about clonig. I don't know If I did that in the correct way:
1.We take the young "branch" with one or two leaves and it must have 3 buds.
2.Then we put growth hormone and we plant it with Peat (I don't know if it is the correct translation we say "turba" a kind of land).
3.Then you cut the top of the leaves to save more watter of the plant.
4.We give to the clones 18 hours of light and 100% of humidity during one day. Then for the hole week 70% and 18 hours also. And one hour of ventilation per day.
We did that with a friend of mine and it works but I don't know if it is the correct way.
Appart from the question, this friend ask me if he can apply for the course know, is it possible? If not I can also explain all the information to him.

1. What does Cannabis do during the vegetative stage?
It is the marijuana maximum growth cycle. In this stage leaf tissue is created, the more leaf surface, the more the plant can grow. This stage takes place from the third to the fifth month when grown naturally.
2. How does Cannabis switch from Veg to Flower?
The plant has a flowering hormone that is present in all stages growth (so we must be careful with that) and is sensitive to light. Consequently as the vegetative stage takes places when the day is longer, the plant will switch to flower stage when daylight decreases.
3. What are 3 grow mediums to choose from?
Soil, hidroponic, and rockwool.
4. How many hours of light should Cannabis have while flowering?
12 hours of light, half day light and half night.

To deal with mind problems like anxiety we need a sativa strain, because indica is more for body like to relieve pain. Then Alaska Ice and Arjan’s Haze #2 would be good plants for this patient.
Great work on this assignment, Christian! I would like to open a discussion about your last point: that sativa is better for anxiety. I find that sativa's have the ability to enhance things like paranoia, a form of anxiety. What do y'all think?
