Hi everyone, I think that the course closure means that I can't directly respond to Phillip's note about keeping the course open.
As Phillip mentioned, I am also keen to keep discussing this topic. The community I am with, Crisiscommons.org, just finished a round of goverance paperwork. We are on the cusp of big changes. All my focus was on that topic. I believe that this unique forum to talk with others who are interested in Open Governance should be keep going.
We are all around the world, so global chats are complex. The opportunity seems like one to keep growing. There are others who might also want to learn from this unique group.
Thoughts?
Heather
I'm interested, too.
Hey Heather - Sorry about the problems with commenting - maybe a bug. I seem to be able to comment here, so never mind.
If there is enough interest to keep going, I'd love to do that. We can create a new course, move over some of the syllabus we found useful (just to keep it complete) and design a few new activities / readings / assignments. There should be at least one week about crisis commons and how you are approaching open governance.
Are more people interested (I think three would be enough to get it started, but the more the merrier of course)?
I found very useful the resources about open governance. I was not able to finish the tasks on time, so I am still checking some links posted. Also is not that fast for me to give opinions about the readings (#idiom), but in general, I think this course experiment on P2PU was great.
I'm interested in the forum.
