    I teach high school Mathematics in Cleveland, Ohio at a small downtown school called SuccessTech Academy.  I have been involved with Teachers Teaching with Technology since 2000 and I believe in the power of visualization!  Students learn and remember best when they can relate to the mathemtics and see it and touch it.   I love netbooks, graphing calculators, geogebra,  and paper folding.  Every once in a while, nothing beats a paper and pencil graph with a good old ruler and graph paper. 
    My recreational activities include hiking, biking and paddling.  I truly believe that one should work hard and play hard and mix the two often.    I am currently working on a Masters in Teaching and Learning Mathematics 5-12.
