They say I'm smart but not motivated.
I say If I understand the material, why should I do the 'exercises'.
Why can't I jump directly to application? 
At least, this was the conversation
that dominated my K-12 vocation

Weird beyond measure,
it was once my pleasure
to use my left brain exclusively
but through it I see 
that happiness be
on the other side of grey matter

awaken I must,
creativity, lust,
setting my sanity free
but warning I heed
degeneracies glee
must not make a shell out of me

above all, be kind
cuz peace on earth needs
peace of mind.
