Self Intro and expectations of class

Hi all,
Had our first video chat last Saturday and realized we didn't do an obligatory self-introduction thread :P
So here we go. Please write a short intro of yourself for the rest of the class to better know you... and also briefly describe what's your expectation of this course.

Hi all,
I'm Ross Gardler. I'm fairly familiar with Drupal but have only built reasonably simple content systems with workflow management. I'm looking forward to getting to grips with Drupal more.
I'm particularly interested in this project as open innovation is an area of significant interest for me. The ability to share is critical to open innovation and I'm keen to understand the ideas this group will generate.
I'm a father of two young children (six months and 5 years) and spend a great deal of time travelling with work. Consequently I find it difficult to attend meetings, especially when outside of the UK working day. As long as things are reported back to these forums regularly I'll be keeping up as best I can.
If anyone cares about my work background just do a web search for me or connect to me on LinkedIn - it's all there.
