A lot of people had problems with this assignment so I’m sharing here a walk-through of how it could be done. This assumes you started with the Twenty Ten theme installed.

Here are a few small details that caused trouble for me:
1.When you create the header in your child CSS, make sure the name of the Template is in lower case even though the parent template may start in uppercase.
2. In your CSS, the name of the category must also be in lowercase. [.category-weddings]
3. Don't forget to activate the child theme once you've created it.
These things are obvious but you'll be surprise on how easy it is to forget.
