Consciousness: Games and Apps

My recent threads

You haven't posted any discussions yet.

Has this class faded out?

Go back to: General discussion

It just doesn't seem like there's much going on, and no new material or task lists posted for last week.  Seems we've sputtered out, eh?

I hate to just disappear, so I'll check back towards the end of next week to see if anything happened here.

Hi Beth! Wow, I hope not! (faded out I mean)

I think the problem is more with my posting of the posts -- I didn't post new "tasks" under the task bar, but instead I "broadcast" them with the "broadcast" button. Perhaps the latest ones didn't get sent properly?

currently we are discussing if consciousness is an emergent property of the brain or the brain is an emergent property of consciousness!

Also I have sent several links of audio files you can listen to... did you get any of those?

Please let me know!
Thanks

Miriam

I'm not receiving any broadcasts at all -- I never have! What are they?

Hi again!

Well, I poked around the P2PU main site, and checked the FAQ, and didn't find anything related to "broadcasts," but I got to thinking. Maybe it means that you've been pushing text and files to our personal email addresses.

That probably failed with me, because my personal email is set up to only accept files of limited size. Certainly no audio files!

I thought about updating my address with my gmail account, but frankly, I don't think an email correspondence course is what I want right now. I honestly probably couldn't even manage it, given the avalanche of emails I already get!

So, I'll say good-bye. I loved the first week, when we used the course web site. Thank you so much for that great set of assignments. I really enjoyed it! It was so stimulating, and I got a whole lot out of it.

Have a wonderful rest of the class!

Yours,
Beth
