Learning WordPress help

Hi classmates,
Since I changed the topic of my website, I wanted to introduce my new one. It's URL is www.purplefinch.org. The title is "Learning WordPress with purplefinch" (me). It's my sandbox for learning all about WordPress and a journal of my explorations and discoveries. I've written in plain language how to do everything we have covered in class as I have been building my site. It's far from complete, but does cover child themes, customizing themes, creating a page template, and more.
I hope you look at it and leave a comment.

I tried to leave a comment...but it says "page not found" ... but it looks like a terrific idea, to simply keep it all in one place for yourself, others and future learners ;-)

Thanks, Jules. i didn't know that the "leave comment" didn't work. I couldn't figure out why and got help from Tomato during her office hour tonight. She solved the problem and it works now.
I posted a comment and it seems to work fine now.
