Outlook email
Has anyone else had this problem and solved it?
I moved my old web site from GoDaddy to Siteground as I thought it would be easier to set up the Wordpress blog. I set up an email address supposedly successfully. Since then my outlook does not work right. It just seems to die and I have to reboot.
I get asked if I want to open in Safe mode and whether I do or not, it comes up the regular way. And I always have a message that says something about Please enter your user name and password. Whether I hit OK or Cancel it comes right back up. I have tried a few passwords. I think I have the right one on there but I see all X's.
Even wierder is I set up an email account for another web site quite a while ago maintained by GoDaddy and I have the same problem getting the constant message even though it is a different computer and a different web site and host. Andy ideas? Thanks!!!!!
I am not 100% sure why but I suspect that the outlook mail setup might be wrong.

Try to check if you set up information correctly on your outlook, reflecting your new email account. I think each hosting service will have some guidance setting up mail on their support.

I have been so frustrated and fallen very far behind in this course. Today I had a woman come over who is an expert in web sites, blogs, WordPress, etc. She could not get my email working either and my blog is missing in action. She said everything has moved over from GoDaddy as far as she can tell including the database. And my admin link should work but it does not. So i have one ticket into Siteground and going to write another and hope I can find a phone number. I would like some of your time Tomato, Monday night. Let me know if you have a preferred time. And hopefully I can access my blog by then. Thanks!!

I set up a Skype account last night. I have never done Skype before. I entered your name as a contact. Do you need to accept that before we can talk?
Also, I talked to Siteground and GoDaddy. I think GoDaddy did not fully transfer everything over to Siteground and I think I have the solution. Will try this morning. Not really the fault of either company. One thing I have learned is Siteground uses the C Panel and GoDaddy does not. The C Panel seems to be easier to work with.
