Week 6 - July 12 - 18
This week's discussion will focus on the role of journalism in shaping the world and encouraging collective action. The group will discuss examples and present their own projects and their potential impact.
This week, you should work towards completing your final presentations for Week 7 which should include:
- an explanation and demonstration of the project and content,
- an explanation of the workflow and the process,
- metrics to describe impact,
- business model and legal issues, and
- any plans for sustainable continuation.

Our guest this week is Andrew Morse, Dow Jones Newswires bureau chief in San Francisco. Andrew was a journalist in Japan for many years. We believe we can speak more frankly if we don't upload the video afterwards so we will be streaming this, but not saving it. If you want to participate in the conversation, please try to make it to the class physically or on UStream.
