Working on developing a unit around the play version of Anne Frank's Diary. With all the resources available it shouldn't be too hard. To make it a bit more challenging I want to create a "MOOC" style plan to coordinate with a real life unit plan. Hopefully I can take this entire idea and present to other educators the successes and failures of this project.
Also going to be developing a freshman earth sciences unit - possibly plate tectonics or something else somewhat similar. This really depends on what is happening. With both of these projects I plan to build a unit, publish the unit under creative commons, teach the units and add notes about what went well and what I would change, then republish a refined version of the unit.
Rurik, glad you started your journal. The course on the Diary and plate tectonics each sound ambitious and interesting. I look forward to helping you realize your visions.
What creative commons license are you planning on using?
Also, regarding the plate tectonics lesson you sent me, I did a visual edit you can see here: http://en.wikiversity.org/w/index.php?title=User:Wirededucator&oldid=614634
Feel free to take or leave the changes. I was having difficulty accessing what you were saying, because everything was clumped together.
Also, do you have any suggestions for the syllabus?
