Starting and running the course ... all you need to know or want to ask -- please reply!
It is 25 April, 9pm where I live (Rotterdam, The Netherlands) ... this is when I start the course ... and this is what we're going to do:
- According to the syllabus (http://p2pu.org/general/node/28201/document/28202 [popup]), in the first week we will work on the Introduction, getting covered some basic theory and develop our practice from 0.0 to 0.1.
- I'll soon add a forum post about my "innovation ecology", and so should all course participants. You would want to do that in the forum (http://p2pu.org/node/28201/forums [new window]).
- I have added two papers to explain where I am coming from:

- Bending the Rules: The Fab Lab Innovation Ecology [new window]
Everyone is invited to ass basic references to theories about innovation / ecologies / innovation ecologies here: http://p2pu.org/general/node/28201/document/29915 [new window]. I'll do my best to add my favourite picks later this week.
For some funny reasons I cannot see your timezone, so please could everyone comment to this thread with an indication of their timezone.
I'm planning to hold weekly clinics either on the p2pu chat channel or on skype, preferably on friday afternoons (my time) -- please also indicate your preferences.

Hi, i'm onome from nigeria. my time zone is GMT +1. apart from 6am to 5pm mon - fri. i'm ok for SKYPE anytime.
So we've got EDT, MDT, GMT and GMT+1 and an aversion to meetings on weekdays.
May I propose tomorrow, Sunday, 16:00 GMT/17:00 GMT+1/10am MDT/12am EDT

Sundays 12am EDT work perfect for me. I generally prefer chat, as I can do it from cafés, but Skype would work too.
cool, so let's try to have a session next Sun (now that I've been populating the chat room yesterday with myself and a clone of me)

I am from India, GMT+5.5, it would be really good if we can use the chat room, Sunday anytime is ok for me
so our 16:00 GMT slot would translate to 21:30 local at your end; this sounds doable ;)
