I'm about to start banging my head against a wall: I keep trying to reset my password, but when I get the password reset screen and reset it, then go try to log in, it tells me that my password is incorrect. Part of the problem is that I have an old Wordpress blog that it keeps using and referring me to, which is not what I'm aiming for. Any suggestions would be welcome.
you should try to change your password accessing your mysql database and at "wp_users" edit your password... it should work
take a look at: http://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password#Through_phpMyAdmin
it should help indeed.
Try to make a new install and move all your files there via ftp. Can't help about your database.
Or try to break through :)
William, not exactly sure if it is directly related...
had problems accessing the site admin or incorrect password the last coupe of days as i move the blog, from local to host and when i attempted to set up a subdomain. Obviously, didn't move my stuff properly.
this article helped.

Okay, I admit, bad habit -- Memo to Bill: Pay attention. Found the place where my user name and password were stored on the back end of my WordPress site, which I had access to through some mechanism that I can't recall, but no matter, so long as I can reset things as necessary. Also, found out why reset messages weren't getting to my e-mail -- left the "m" off the end of the address. Oops. In the interest of contributing something positive to the discussion, here's a site with WordPress themes I just ran across: http://demo.rockettheme.com/wordpress/
