WordPress Security
Just wanted to start a forum on WordPress security. I have been looking into different plugins and methods of managing user roles, it appears fairly simple to control which users and visitors can access which pages utilizing plugins. It even seems relatively easy to create a custom login page with just one line of php code inserted into a template. My question, if anyone can help me, is how secure WordPress is in terms of file management. I have a client who wants me to build a website where his company's clients can login and securely upload and download files. I know how to get SSL going on my web server, and how to make pages visible only to logged in users, but I still feel unsure how safe the files are once uploaded.
