Hello Good People!
today I found this post and I thought about the way we use Posterous (thanks, Joe, for choosing this tool!) in our course.

We are using Posterous as a course e-portfolio, and not as an individual e-portfolio, but the concept is the same.

I posted a comment about our use of posterous
http://mededelearning.wordpress.com/2011/02/17/thinking-about-e-portfoli...
I was asked how "students" and "staff" like it.
Ok, regardless of the fact that there are neither students nor staff here, what do you think of Posterous?
I like it a lot, for the reasons that I mentioned in the comment
I think any of these essays *could* be added to an individual e-portfolio, e.g. via a direct link: http://open-governance-and-learning.posterous.com/week-2-open-governance.... That said there isn't any particular support for "metadata" that would announce that that particular essay is by Charles Danoff. This is one drawback.
In general the UI (email- or web-based posting) is great, and I think in the long-term this should be integrated into the P2PU site itself. As they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I find Posterous inspiring, but it's not perfect.
