1. Can Bogani use material licensed under CC BY-NC in her classes?

-Despite receiving a paycheck from her community college, she can distribute the materials so long as she is not profiting from the money received from the cost of copies. She must attribute the materials to the original sources according to the terms of the original licenses.

2. Would your answer change for her blog?

-Materials licensed CC BY-NC could be posted and shared on a blog. However, since her blog is CC BY-SA, others may use her materials in a commercial manner. If she wants to post the resources that are NC licensed, she must add “unless otherwise noted”, to her site (and clearly label all materials with their correct CC license). This will alert those who want to use the materials that not everything can be used commercially.

3. What if she has Google Adsense running?

-She may not post NC licensed materials if she is running Adsense

4. Can she post the resources licensed under CC BY-NC-SA on her CC BY-SA blog?

-Again, if she wants to post the resources that are NC licensed, she must add “unless otherwise noted”, to her site (and clearly label all materials with their correct CC license). This will alert those who want to use the materials that not everything can be used commercially.

5. Has Bogani breached copyright in making her teaching resource? Can she share it with other teachers in her college? Can she upload it to a public OER site?

-I do not think she has breached copyright, so long as she makes the citations and restrictions from the sourced works are visible. She would be able to share it, and would be able to post on a Public OER site.
